commune Cinema returns to House of Vans this September with an exclusive screening of critically acclaimed music documentary The Man from Mo'Wax, charting the extraordinary life & career of underground music icon James Lavelle. Featuring original unseen footage from Lavelle and interviews with collaborators including DJ Shadow, Thom Yorke, Grandmaster Flash and Joshua Homme.
The screening will be hosted in our 100-seat cinema space and followed by a Q&A with film director Matthew Jones & producer M.J. MacMahon.
The event is free with booking required. A very limited number of walk-in tickets will be available on the day, on a first come, first served basis.
